Focused Sound Pickup, Onboard Controls
A heart-shaped cardioid pickup pattern captures focused sound from your subjects in front of the camera. The microphone has a frequency response of 100 Hz to 20 kHz and -32 dB for clear and accurate audio recording.
Three gain settings—-10 dB, 0 dB, +10 dB—can be toggled using the onboard switch control. Boost the sound when needed and lower noise pollution to prevent distortion.
A low-cut filter with flat, 75 Hz, and 150 Hz options can filter out low-frequency noises to reduce interference in your recording.
Integrated Shockmount, Foam Windscreen
Easily attach the QX-6 to your camera rig using its integrated cold shoe mount. A shock-absorbing bracket at the bottom of the microphone reduces handling noise. A foam windscreen prevents wind interference when filming outdoors.
40-Hour Battery Life
The QX-6 is powered by two separately available AAA batteries for a total runtime of 40 hours. The onboard power switch features an automatic function that synchronizes the device's power status with its audio port, turning the device on only when connected via the included cable.
